Status of The Rewrite

Since Meg keeps getting anon messages either chiding her for having given this up or questions of when the rewrite will be continued, I’m going to go ahead and state the situation here.

Now, I do not want to speak entirely for her, though I will say a lot of our concerns are similar. For all intents and purposes, you can consider this project terminated, abandoned, not to be continued any time soon, etc

If you’d like to hear why, read further.

thespianism asked: have you dropped this project? i noticed you haven't updated for a few weeks now.

No, we haven’t, at least not officially. Life has just been hectic and, as per usual, the muse ebbs and flows, so episodes will come when they’re ready.

Season 3 Rewrite, Episode 5: “Halloween”

Title: Halloween

Writer: Christine “ imsohappyrightnow

It’s Halloween and Mr. Schue decides to capitalize on the season by having the New Directions open a haunted house to help raise funds. Puck and Quinn take Beth trick-or-treating and The Trouble Tones perform their first musical number.

((formatting is currently being tested and will be changed if it looks like shit))

Here.

Here’s What You Missed On The Revised Version of Glee Season Three

Brittany and Kurt are both hard at work on their campaign strategies, though Kurt has been focusing most prominently on his new club, PFLAG. Quinn and Puck are trying to spend more time with Beth and be a part of her life. The New Directions are desperate for money and Mr. Schue is full of bad ideas. Karofsky has reluctantly joined The Trouble Tones, an all-girl group consisting of Sugar, Santana, Mercedes and Tina. Blaine has made friends with a fellow Warbler who might want to be a little bit more than friends.

And that’s what you missed on GLEE REVISED.

imsohappyrightnow:

YAYYYYYYYYY.

Whoo!

Episode Delay + Hiatus

We wanted to let everyone know that the release of episodes 5 & 6 are going to be pushed back from Tuesday to sometime later in the week, due to personal issues preventing them from being ready on schedule.

We also wanted to bring it to everyone’s attention that there’ll be another hiatus next week while we get re-organized and prepare for the rest of the season. The writing team is going to be downsized to just Meg and I (Annie) in the hopes that we might be able to reorganize the story lines and get things back on the track we originally wanted them to follow.

We’re really sorry for the hold-ups, we just feel like this project has sort of spun wildly out of control and we feel we’re going to need some time to get it to where we want it to be.

Thanks so much,

Annie and Meg

Anonymous asked: I don't understand why the main concern of a lot of people seems to be the relationship status of the characters. I think the storylines are very interesting and well-structured, without the need to solely focus on love-triangles. Especially since love-triangles are the favorite plot-devices in canon-Glee. Even though you're 'big, biased Kurtofsky-shipping jerkwads' ;) I have the feeling that you're going to treat Blaine with the same respect as any other character. Keep up the good work.

I want to establish, yet again, that pairings are not our focus and if they are for you, then is this maybe not the right fic to be reading. Yes, certain people will end up together, yes some people will break up, yes some people will be single.

In the big scheme of things, how important is it that character A gets to sleep with character B when character A has a story line about his mom dying- just a theoretical example.

I’ve explained this issue to the best of my ability and if you’re not satisfied with how I’ve explained it or how it’s being handled, I honestly don’t know what to tell you.

In the future of this rewrite, storylines are more important to me than pairing off characters like square dance partners and if I could make one wish, it’d be that people ask us something about one of the storylines for a change.
